Reef Ecology

Since Dr. Tunnell’s main focus today is large scale cooperative and collaborative projects around the Gulf (U.S., Mexico, and Cuba) and research administration, he does not maintain an active lab. He does continue however as a Ph.D. Advisor to several students in Texas coastal ecology and Mexican coral reef ecology via occasional field work, and he maintains a molluscan biodiversity work station in Tom Shirley’s Marine Biodiversity Lab.
